Multicriteria decision-making method applied to optimized reinforced concrete, steel and wood beams

چکیده

Optimization techniques have been increasingly used to obtain structures of lower cost or weight. However, the result obtained depends on choice materials. This can be based factors such as cost, performance, and environmental impacts, well subjective aspects cultural issue. work adopts a multicriteria decision method compare optimized reinforced concrete, steel wood beams subsidize best material. The criteria adopted were weight, height, impact culture. For this analysis, three materials minimize impact, considering same loading spans. results evaluated using Analytical Hierarchical Decision Method (AHP). It was observed great influence culture in material favouring wooden beam for smallest span concrete largest studied.
